Foundations
The on-ramp. Two weeks for someone who has tried meditating and never quite stayed.
Most people who try meditation stop in the first weeks. The drop-off is consistent across the consumer apps. The reason is usually not lack of interest; it is lack of progression. The first session is the same as the tenth, the catalog is too big to navigate, and nothing feels like it is going anywhere.
Foundations is those first weeks as a structured arc. Week one is attention — resting it on the breath, the body, and sound. Week two is the wandering mind — meeting the drift, and coming back. Sessions are short, around ten minutes. The journal asks one question a week, not five.
It is the simplest program in the catalog. It is also the one most people will start with.
A prompt from inside
After the practice, write one sentence about what surprised you. Not what you noticed. What surprised you.
Journal prompts in Stillee are short on purpose. Three sentences is usually enough. Five is plenty. The point is the look, not the essay.
